Every Dream Sprouts from a Single Seed

Author : Tristan Loo
I have read hundreds of books on goal-setting, manifesting wealth, and the power of thought and through my research into personal development, I have taken a liking to the concept of seeding your dreams in the "now" in order to manifest that which you desire in the future. The Common Problem With Reaching Goals Many of my clients tell me that they are very productive and busy people and that every moment of their time is spent working. I then ask them if their hard work is bringing them any closer to their dreams. Usually they tell me that it is not and they can't understand why. That is because unfocused effort is wasted effort. Inevitably, individuals can spend their entire lives toiling very hard and in the end, not produce anything that contributes towards their legacy. The Seed AnalogyA seed is sowed into the moist fertile soil. It is given nourishment, heat, and water which causes it to sprout. Those sprouts push their way up through the soil where it can obtain sunlight, causing the photosynthesis process to begin. The plant continues to grow and to mature into a healthy flower.Seeding your DreamThe concept of seeding your dreams stems from the fact that in order for a dream to manifest itself in the real world, there must be a seed from which it can grow. That seed needs to be planted in your present in order for that seed to grow into your future dream. And what is a seed? It is the dormant genetic code of your dream that needs to be sowed into the ground, nurtured and watered for it to sprout and eventually bloom into the flower that it was meant to be.How can this idea be utilized in a practical sense? Well, that is for a dream to manifest itself, it must already exist to some degree in the present, usually in the form of intention. So if your goal is to become a millionaire, then in order to fully realize becoming a millionaire, then that millionaire must already exist inside of you in the form of intention. The mindset that I usually recommend to my clients is not to work their way up towards their goal, but rather envision themselves already living their dream. If your goal is to be a millionaire, then start acting like you would if you were a millionaire. If you want to be famous, then start acting like you would if you were famous. In my previous article, Lessons of Success from Kid Rock, I mentioned how Kid Rock, the famous American pop music singer went from a public-access channel nobody to prime-time on MTV because he always thought of himself as famous, even when he wasn't. He had planted the seed of his dream of becoming rich and famous when he first started and he nutured that sprouting seed to grow into what he has become today.Start today to plant those seeds of your dream, otherwise, it will never grow. Make sure you nuture those seeds by pursuing your passion and building on your past lessons. Always move forward and never backwards. For over 10 years, Tristan Loo has inspired, motivated, and brought success to the lives of the people he's touched.
