There has been an enormous amount of materials developed
with the idea of bringing out the greatness within us. I
have personally purchased thousands of dollars worth of
products pertaining to greatness. I truly believe there
is greatness in each and every one of us.It was not always so. I had a tendency, for example, to
concentrate on my past failures. I focused on my failed
relationships, lost jobs, drug addiction, financial
problems, illness, unrealized goals, shattered dreams and
broken promises. By sowing those seeds, I reaped
low self-image, self-sabotage, self-rejection, and damaged
emotions.To top it all off, I denied that I had those traumatized
emotions. Even when I admitted I had them, oftentimes I
didn't like myself. To this day, I still sometimes look
for people and outside circumstances to blame for my
self-hatred.As you can imagine, it was very difficult for me to see
myself as great. The seven steps to greatness workshops,
books, tapes and CD's seemed to be working for everyone.
Everyone but me that is. One day I found the solution to
my problem. I had a revelation that if I could become
better, eventually I could grow to be great.How many of you would like to be transformed into a better
person, mother, father, wife or husband? Is there anyone
who would like to become better at his or her job, better
at managing his or her finances, or better at getting and
staying physically fit? Would you like to develop into a
better business leader, a better prospector?It doesn't matter what area of your life you want to be
better in. I assure you that if you take the action to
get better, you can become great. However, you cannot turn
out to be better or great until you learn to love yourself
